This booklet, Books are like Rice: Or, All I Never Wanted to Know about Bookselling, though a true, sometimes humorous, memoir of bookselling, is not intended as a how to succeed in business book. It does, however, contain some useable information for those who are interested in an insecure future selling books and other media.
This is more simply a reflection on the insanity we know as bibliophilia, also punctuated by earthquakes and madness. It also compares the old ways of bookselling and book buying with the new ways of today. The comparison might be deemed more worthy of the madness designation.

Letting go of the Rice: A Journal Concerning the Loss of Mind and Music to Alzheimer's Disease is available through www.Amazon.com or www.Lulu.com
This book is somewhat of a chronicle which also contains a dated journal of my late husband’s descent into Alzheimer’s Disease. In addition, it is as much my memoir, which includes reflections on my own coping mechanisms. I could say that my intention with this book is in helping people know what to expect with progression of this disease, but that would be an erroneous assumption, because of the different personalities we all start out with. I expect it contains helpful observations, even so.
